Chapter: Chapter 5: cursed necklaces and video calls gone wrong.

Video calls gone wrong, cursed necklaces… could this Monday be worse?

  • Tyler and Regan decide to avoid telling too many details about their condition, while still sharing with the others what they know about the cursed necklace. Tyler says that he's happy to have his sister back.

  • Tyler wants to tell Adrian and Aaron what happened with the necklace so they can all figure out what to do about it, but Regan is worried: she wants to know more about the necklace, but doesn't want to explain too much about her "condition".

  • Once in the bathroom, Tyler finally has some time to talk to his sister and explain what happened at the cemetery. She's confused and can't remember much besides finding the necklace.

  • Tyler is relieved to hear Regan's voice again, but quickly realizes that he can't talk with her in front of the others, so he asks Adrian if he can go to the bathroom. Aaron is still too shocked to process anything.

  • Adrian decides to temporarily remove his protection spells from the door to let Tyler in and explain the whole situation. As soon as he gets in, Tyler realizes that he can hear his sister's voice again.

  • Adrian warns Tyler to stay away from the door unless he wants to turn into a roast. Tyler is more shocked to find out that the hunter can actually use magic.

  • Adrian opens the door and finds a very angry Tyler asking where he can find Aaron. Both Adrian and Aaron are confused, but Tyler insists. He tries to get into the house without permission, but Adrian's protection spells force him to stand back.

    5.7 – Make it stop

  • Adrian comes back home to find a desperate Aaron nearly smashing the computer in an attempt to "fix" the connection. He tries to calm the young man down, when the doorbell rings.

  • Tanner asks Aaron where he is, but he doesn't remember. They're still discussing when the connection suddenly dies.

  • Tanner tries to explain in the simplest possible way that they're not going to replace Aaron with someone else. Then asks his friend where he is. Aaron says that he doesn't know and gives a bunch of vague indications. Tanner gets snarky about it, and Aaron gets angry again.
