Character: Jorn Edberg

What if you were given the opportunity to start over? What if your sins could be forgiven and your soul could be cleansed? Jorn never really wanted to be a vampire. And now that he’s got the opportunity to change things… he surely won’t miss it. But good intentions aren’t enough: the road to hell is paved of them, after all, and Jorn’s trip has only just started…

  • The transformation goes on: Kane the Shapeshifter's hair slowly turn white, although we can't see his face yet, as he asks the mysterious stranger: "I don't recall seeing you before, though. Are you a new initiate?" - The stranger looks away, playing with his hair. "In a manner of speaking...", he says, with a little smile. Kane the Shapeshifter doesn't seem impressed: we can see his face now. And his features... are those of the now defunct Arthur Hawthorne. "Then what are you waiting for? Get a move on, we've got to clean up this mess!" he scolds the stranger, pointing at the corpse on the floor. "O-of course! I was just wondering..." the stranger starts replying. "What? What were you wondering?" Kane cuts him off, clearly annoyed. "Why do they always send the idiots to me?" he asks himself, as he rubs his forehead in an exasperated gesture.

  • A close-up on Arthur Hawthorne's corpse in a puddle of blood. A mysterious man kneels besides him, caressing his face with his hand: "Sorry, I didn't make it in time". As we move on to the next panel, we can see the stranger's face: it's a pale young man with long, messy black hair and blue eyes. He looks deeply upset: "If only I had been faster..." he can't finish the sentence, as another voice interrupts him: "You wouldn't have missed all the fun". The black haired stranger turns to see someone walking downstairs: "Kane the Shapeshifter, right? I heard a lot about you". "Yes, I know, I'm that awesome" is Kane's reply. We can see part of their face: it's the woman from the prologue... or is it? Her features appears to be changing. Her hair is getting shorter and starts to turn white, and she looks... older. Her voice appears to be changing, too: "So the boss decided to send some support, uh? Good... it's always nice to have a helping hand".
