  • Adrian points at a polaroid on the table and asks Crawford about it. He doesn't seem to think much of it, but does mention that Kane was part of a group of "satan worshippers". He can't remember the exact name of the demon they worshipped, but Adrian does: Baal-Berith. And then... everything clicks together. Adrian realizes that the thing causing the murders is the same from ten years ago and reminisces about his past investigation and... a possessed woman whose clothes are drenched in blood.

  • Adrian tries to explain his theories in the least supernatural way possible. Crawford has to admit that, given the info he currently has, Adrian appears to be out of the suspect list. However, he also makes sure to mention that he still doesn't trust Adrian and mentions something that happened to the hunter's wife and a "poor boy". He doesn't go much in depth, but his words deeply hurt Adrian, who stays silent for a moment and lowers his head. As Crawford keeps saying that the case is under control and that the police is taking care of it, Adrian notices something among the polaroids scattered on the table.

  • Crawford mentions that they found Kane's weapon and that it is compatible with the wounds of the other victims, but thinks there might be an accomplice still around. Adrian says that there was in fact someone else on the crime scene that night, but Crawford immediately assumes that Adrian is going to talk about some more supernatural stuff and cuts him off. Adrian gives up, knowing that there's no use talking to the sheriff.
