Aaron sighs: "As I suspected. Anyway, I was hungry and I really wanted some pancakes. Took me a while to find all the ingredients. Your fridge is depressingly empty, you know?"
Adrian sits at the table and looks at the mess that his kitchen has turned into. Broken egg shells and cigarett butts lay on the stained counter. "Those eggs were supposed to be my lunch..."
"Don't worry, I'm going to the supermarket later." says Aaron, "I'm going to need your money, though, 'cos I'm still broke. Here, have your pancakes. Mind if I smoke?"
Adrian raises a brow, noticing more cigarette butts laying in a cup on the table: "I think it's a bit late to ask..."
Aaron doesn't seem to notice the sarcasm in his voice: "Oh... sure, you're right. So you don't mind, do you?"
"Actually I d-uh?" Adrian stops, noticing something else: "Hold on a second..." He looks at the pancakes. There's "Thanks for saving me tonight" written in very broken English on their surface.
