Chapter: Chapter 6: mysteries unveiled, questions remain.

Some mysteries are unveiled, more questions remain.

  • Aaron suggests that he could take a bus to Philadelphia. Adrian points out that it would take even longer and adds that, actually, it might be a good idea for Aaron to avoid traveling alone with Louis around. Aaron points out that he wouldn't travel alone and that he woudl soon reach his band mates... but Adrian is quick to remind him that his band mates are the ones who left him alone and won't even reply to his messages.

    6.20 – Stuck

  • Adrian shows off his skills with fire magic. After the initial shock, Aaron insists that magic being real is not his problem anyway. He had a show in Philadelphia in a few hours and that's all he wants to worry about. Adrian lets him know that reaching Philadelphia would take at least three hours from where they are.

  • Aaron dismisses Adrian's attempts to talk. He says that the prank was fun while it lasted, but enough's enough and now he needs a cigarette. Except that he can't find his lighter. Adrian kindly provides some fire... using magic.

  • Aaron starts to think that everything is just one big prank organized by his band mates. Adrian tries to tell him that it's not, but he won't listen.

  • Aaron insists on trying to rationalize the supernatural things he just saw. Adrian is about to lose his patience, but tries to keep his calm.

  • Aaron tries to come to terms with the revelations he's just heard: that Adrian is a wizard, that supernatural creatures are real and that Adrian hunts them for a living. Adrian seems very convinced of what he says, but Aaron remains skeptical and actually wonders if his friend is on drugs.

  • Regan agrees with Tyler that she's done running away from Louis and that it's time to do something to prevent him from hurting other people.

  • Regan keeps preparing her "medicine", while Tyler suggests talking to Adrian to get some help with Louis. She's a bit unsure at first, and while she's still considering the idea, she almost ends up ruining the lotion she's making. Eventually, however, she agrees to meet Adrian again and says that she's going to talk to him in person.

  • Tyler asks Regan if she's actually planning to leave the town. She says that, while she doesn't want Louis around, she also thinks that running away would fix nothing. Louis would still be around, free to hurt others. People like Aaron. She doesn't like Aaron, but she also thinks that he doesn't deserve what happened to her and Tyler. Nobody does.

    6.12 – Nobody deserves that.

  • Regan thinks what happened with Louis is all her fault, because she didn't realize what kind of monster he was before. Tyler reminds her that she didn't even know that Louis was a werewolf and that it's not her fault. The two eventually realize how they've been both blaming themselves for what happened and agree that it's time to stop and start figuring out a plan instead.
