Chapter: Chapter 6: mysteries unveiled, questions remain.

Some mysteries are unveiled, more questions remain.

  • Tyler and Regan's trip down the memory lane continues: apparently, the twins used to be in a coven together with Louis, but he betrayed their trust and told the twins' parents what they were doing, blaming it all on Tyler especially. Tyler mentions that it was actually Louis' idea to practice magic together and that, even if he already was the black sheep of the family, it was probably the lies of his former friend that broke his relationships with his parents. Regan tells Tyler that he did the right thing cutting contacts with Louis. She should have done the same, but her feelings prevented her from doing so.

  • Tyler and Regan take a moment to talk about what happened at Adrian's house. Regan apologizes for losing her control: as it turns out, she ended up using Tyler's shapeshifting powers to also manifest in her physical form. Tyler doesn't seem angry, however: he knows how much Regan cared about Louis, and she confirms that hearing about him still hurts. The two of them then proceed to start talking about the first time Louis betrayed their trust.

  • Adrian chases after Tyler, but it's too late: the young man has already entered the car and is leaving the place as fast as he can. Adrian and Aaron can do nothing but stare at the car leaving. Adrian then suggests getting back inside the house, so he can offer Aaron some explanations about the things he saw.

  • Regan, still panicking, takes over Tyler's voice. Adrian and Aaron can do nothing but stare at the scene in shock, until Tyler somehow manages to regain control. Then, without any explanation, the young man mutters a "sorry" and runs away. Adrian chases after him.

  • Aaron is still confused about werewolves. Adrian explains that they have strong senses and that Louis might be in town soon, if he isn't already. Regan, terrified, starts to freak out and speaks through Tyler, revealing her presence to everyone else.

  • Adrian tells a flustered Aaron that he has no control over the things he sees in his vision. Tyler stares at the two of them talking, confused, until he realizes what the conversation is all about: Aaron slept with Louis and stole his amulet. And now, Louis could be on his tracks. Or worse, on their tracks: as Regan points out, Louis might want to kill the twins, too.

  • Tyler explains that "Tyresias" is a nickname used by both him and his sister, but that Adrian can call him either way. He then asks what else Adrian saw in his vision. Aaron tries to avoid the conversation, but Adrian tries to tell him that there's nothing to worry about and that he won't judge. Somehow, this makes Aaron panic even more.

  • Tyler confirms that it was indeed Louis who attacked him and his sister, turning them both into werewolves. Adrian compliments his bravery and, in doing so, uses Tyler's real name, leaving the young man a little startled. Regan worries that Adrian may have found out everything about them, now.

  • Adrian explains what caused the vision: he has a power called retrocognitions, which allows him to see the past by touching an object. He adds that it usually requires a lot of focus, but sometimes it just happens, as was the case for the necklace.

  • Adrian finds himself laying on a sofa. He doesn't remember getting there and asks Aaron and Tyler what happened. They explain that he passed out.
