Some mysteries are unveiled, more questions remain.

  • Aaron opens his pack of cigarettes only to find it empty and decides to go out and buy a new one, despite Adrian's warnings.

  • The cause of the explosion is revealed: the stake that fell from Aaron's hand landed on a bunch of potions. Aaron decides to clean up the mess. Before he starts cleaning, however, he can't help but notice an old picture of Adrian and his wife: apparently, it was torn into pieces, but then was put back together using tape.

  • Aaron quickly realizes that he's not looking at potions, but actual poisons. And stakes, too. At first, he seems a bit scared, but then... he grabs a stake and starts pretending to be a hunter. Too bad that the stake pretty much instantly slips from his hand and lands on the floor, causing an explosion.

  • Aaron enters Adrian's bedroom and starts looking through his stuff. It doesn't take long for him to realize that there isn't a whole lot of interesting stuff for him: some religious texts, books about witchcraft and quite a bunch of Christian trinkets. He's about to give up, when he notices some interesting bottles. Potions, maybe?

  • Aaron sits on the sofa, bored as hell as he waits for Adrian to come back, and regrets his choice to stay at home.

  • Aaron tells Adrian that it's okay if he needs some time alone, he also needs some time for himself to process everything that happened. Still, Adrian promises that he will be back soon and gives Aaron some money to keep in case of emergency.

  • Adrian explains that, while there he can sense some power inside the amulet, there seems to be no black magic involved. He suggests keeping it to analyze it later and then tells Aaron that he needs to leave for a while to take care of some things.

  • Once everything is settled, Adrian asks where the amulet is. Aaron tells him that it's in the dustpan, because after finding out that it was cursed, he didn't want to touch it with his bare hands. Adrian tells him that the amulet is not actually cursed.

  • Adrian explains why exactly he thinks that Louis is dangerous: he was in his mind during his vision and could hear his thoughts. He knows that Louis attacked Tyresias on purpose and is certain that he wouldn't hesitate before hurting Aaron. Aaron eventually agrees to stay for a bit and let Adrian take care of the issue.

  • Aaron starts panicking, still refusing to believe Adrian's words. Adrian finally explodes, saying that he's just trying to save Aaron's life.
